We are in the process of planning a tribute to celebrate Imam Mohammed's leadership and the development of our community during African American history month (February 2009). Since the passing of our leader, we have not had an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable development of our community under his leadership. Too often our story has either, been completely overlooked, deliberately confused with the Nation of Islam under the leadership of Minister Farrakhan, and here recently even confused with immigrant communities.
